FORMULA DREAM/PANASONIC DRIVER MUTOH 13TH IN PRACTICE FOR THE CAMPING WORLD GRAND PRIX AT THE GLEN
FASTEST: Ryan Briscoe 1:31.4142 132.714 mph
13th: Hideki Mutoh 1:33.0661 130.359 mph
Hideki Mutoh, No. 06 Formula Dream/Panasonic Dallara/Honda/Firestone: “It was good to get back on a road course but it was weird at first. The steering is straight now which is good and we are turning right and left again. It’s a different approach definitely. I needed the first two outings to adapt to road course racing again. Still I will improve as I get more track time. We had planned to test many different things but were only able to try one of the things but made some improvements. The track is slower than last year for some reason. It was hard to get a good understanding of how we were doing because of the yellows and the track being slower than last year.”
